Listening & Moving Deeper - July 2025
Hello lovelies,
Welcome to July. Or maybe it's me who is just getting here...
One of the hardest magical skills I know of is one that sounds so simple. Listening. Or rather, paying attention. There is always so much going on, so much clamouring for that attention, and if you're like me you are probably excited by so much, so many things are intriguing, shiny, fascinating...
And one of the blessings of living a magical life is that many wondrous things come to visit. Many challenges too, of course, especially when you ask the gods to help you grow into all you can be, but oh so many wonderful things.
How can I say no to any of the delights of life?
How can we filter out the distractions of modern life and focus on what is really the deep calling of our hearts?
How do I listen to what is really needed in this moment?
For me - I noticed that I'd overcommitted, so I came back to my relationships. My connections to the spirits. My gods. My community and loved ones.
I took a bit of time to reflect and journal, because writing is how I think things through, and I noticed how much time I spend sat at a screen, filming online classes, and remembered how I chose this life of mine to make more time and space for doing magic, and to explore this beautiful world.
So I asked myself what would allow me to do more of that.
And I wondered whether making more live videos was really supportive for you folk too, or if, perhaps, you want to go deeper instead. To share magical space and embody your practices.
So here's my question for myself, and for you... what is it you long for? And are you listening to that longing?
For me, my magical practice is how I learned to listen and notice when I'm off track, and it gave me tools for both building a life I love, and getting myself back on course when I'm led astray by shiny shiny things.
What has helped you?

In listening I began dreaming into a simpler way of doing things, with more spaciousness and ease... and last month I teased that things were changing here at TEA.
So here's the promised update!
New Structure at TEA
I'm simplifying the memberships to three main tiers.

1. THE FREE COMMUNITY
- the community at TEA with one or two live events each month.

2. THE ELEMENTAL LIBRARY
- our expanding library of masterclass and talk replays and self-study courses for folks who want to dip their toes in.

3. THE ENCHANTERS' CIRCLE
- monthly live classes, and all the previous Crimson Coven and Bardic Grove courses, plus the Elemental Library...
|
What this means: the Enchanters' Circle is now the main way to work with me and to study magic in depth - and the new live courses are for just that.
And Just One More Thing...
I'm also launching specialised "clubs" - starting with Babalon!
4. Babalon Circles & Book Club - with monthly online ritual circles and a book club in the forum where I'll share from my forthcoming Goddess Babalon book and research, and creative, devotional projects!
The private forum - BABALON'S TEMPLE - opens this Sunday, with our first online ritual on Monday 14th July, 8pm UK time.
