The Magic of Play | November 2026

Hello lovelies,

As the year gets darker here I'm reflecting on time and my eternal challenge of pacing myself. One thing I've begun this year is collecting little things to play with when I need to take a break, but it isn't quite bedtime yet, including Sudoku puzzles, getting back into art journaling, and... solo journaling RPGs. They're basically structured writing prompts turned into a game. Zero pressure, minimal kit, and no screens. I love writing but my fiction skills have gotten rusty so I'm really enjoying the gentle journey. Playing is important, right?

Read more about the magic of play here...

Of course, being me, I started wondering if I could make one that also taught magical topics... and I'll be sharing the results with my paid Patreons (at all tiers)! If you're interested in being a test player then now's a good time to jump in... (PS: You don't have to be a writer.)
